Christmas is just a few days away.  I hope everyone has gotten most, if not all of their Christmas shopping done.  As I write one of the last post for this year, I hope everyone has enjoyed the lights.  Its been fun and exciting along with wondering at the beginning if I was going to make the deadline for the display to come on Thanksgiving Day night, but with a little Christmas Magic, it all fell into place.  Neighbors, friends and people that I have never met stopping, when I'm out,  just to say how much they enjoy the lights make all the hard work and time put into it worthwhile.  But only a few more days and the lights will be off for another year.  I'm already planning the light display for next year, and should have somewhere between 20,000  to 25,000 lights maybe more.  I

I don't run the lights because of all the electricity.  There are over 6,500 feet of extension cords in the yard, and even though all the outlets are the GFCI, I don't want them tripping all the time.  Some of the stuff costs a lot of money to have the rain short it out.

The dogs like it so far.  They really haven't had any problems with anything and they leave it all alone.
